I have had a keen interest in photography for at least over 20 years now, I started out taking photos on holidays of family and scenery, then did quite a bit when I first started work and at college. People would always say how good my photos were and I should do more with the skill I had been given!!  I didn’t really start to do much more, apart from doing a few family weddings, until a good friend of mine who was also a keen photographer asked me to join her.

We started off working with the charity SOS children’s villages during 2005, who work with children in many countries across the world who have been orphaned, by setting up villages and caring for them till they are able to care for themselves. We made a calendar using images of children from my friend’s child’s school and also had a small exhibition of the photos. I was lucky enough to be able to visit some of their projects in Brazil and the Philippines when I travelled around the world in 2006.

We then started work with Actionaid during 2006, I went back to Brazil in February 2007 and visited the project they had set up in a favela just outside Rio de Janeiro. I took photos there and when I got back we had an exhibition in November of the photos and details of the work Actionaid are doing there, as well as some of our own photos of landscapes and portraits. The exhibition raised money and awareness for Actionaid and gave us some exposure as photographers.

At the end of 2007 I did my first photo shoot with a friend, which went well, so started doing a few more in 2008, I was then introduced to a web site called ModelMayhem, which I joined and haven’t looked back since really. I have had a lot of good feedback from models and photographers alike!
I now have 3 profiles on the site showing my portraits, body shots and body sculpture images!!
So the time had come to set up my own web site and see where it leads me......I hope you enjoy viewing my images.
